A suuuuper quick and ridiculously delicious treat or dessert from Color Me Vegan.
Ingredients:
Almond butter (I use raw)
Thinly sliced bread, with crusts removed (I used sprouted whole wheat sandwich bread)
Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Banana, sliced into flat strips
Directions:
Cover one side of bread generously with almond butter. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on the almond butter so they stick.
Lay the banana slices on top of the chocolate chips.
Gently lay another almond butter coated bread (butter side down) on your bananas. Press down gently.
Grill in your panini maker for 4 minutes or until it is hot and gooey delicious mess!
My kids LOVED these! But then again, how can you not love something with chalk-yet... as Quinn calls it?!! :)
